What kind of limitations are there for making a parenting plan?

Good for you for seeing a mediator. Your rule about the diaper bag and playpen are exactly the sort of things you should discuss.
I would advise being a little more tactful about the child support issue. Obviously, if your ex isn’t paying child support you should pursue legal action to make him pay you. But refusing to let him see his child is not as productive as having a judge evaluate his non-payment of child support.
