How important is it to take a pregnancy test the way it describes in the directions?
Warning : This question is a bit long.
I’m about 8 weeks pregnant.
A few days ago I was doing some flips, nothing serious really, just backflips off a bed, and I crashed stomach down onto the floor. Since then I’ve been having this pain in my side. It hurts when I laugh, and I’m not sure whether its a pulled muscle or something more serious.
Anyway, I was wondering if maybe I miscarried? I haven’t bled at all, but my side, right above my hip really hurts.
So anyway, I took a pregnancy test, barely glancing at the instructions. And I did several things wrong. I held the test strip in the urine for 10 seconds instead of 5. And I forgot to put the cap back on while tilting it downwards. Also, I took the tast around 9pm instead of early in the morning.
Anyway, it came out negative. So now I’m worried.
Did I ***** up the test by not reading the instructions fully? Or have I possibly miscarried without bleeding?
As to why I was doing backflips..
I tend to act impulsively without thinking about the consequences of my actions. Blame youth.
